I set up both mono and stereo inputs so I have a choice and not have to use 2 mono tracks for a stereo input. you need to go into Studio One and set up your I/O for them both to show up in the I/O pull down windows of S1. the 1602 now shows up in UC under the FST so i see 2 icons.

I simply connect the 1602 to my PC (i have the drivers already loaded). so it comes and goes into my home system when I need more than 16 inputs from the FST. I have all the studio live consoles but I love the 1602. I use a Firestudio Tube as my main interface at home. if you are using Studio One you can do this real easy with the Firestudio line of interfaces and mixers. but you need the right type of interfaces to pull this off.
